Winter Buffalo hunts are available again this year at Sunrise Ranch. South Dakota is the land of the Buffalo. Home of Dances with Wolves. This is where the iconic beast has been since the very beginning. If you ever want to experience what is was really like this is the place to do it. Our ranch is a combination of prairie and canyons with buffalo roaming all through it. We have some terrific trophy bulls along with some nice meat bulls and some really nice buffalo cows. We also have some unique caramel colored buffalo cows available this year. There is a very limited number of these, and their hide looks like a grizzly hide when tanned. Buffalo have the best coats from Nov 1 to March 1.
