Winter Buffalo hunts are available again this year at Sunrise Ranch. We have some terrific trophy bulls along with some nice meat bulls and some really nice buffalo cows. We also have some unique caramel colored buffalos cows available this year. There is a very limited number of these, their hide looks like a grizzly hide when tanned. Buffalo have the best coats from Nov 1 to March 1.hunts are for mature mule deer. We have terrific habitat that provides excellent nutrition and, since we are high fenced, we can allow our deer to grow to their genetic potential. All of this allows a terrific opportunity for the hunter to harvest a true trophy mule deer. The hunting area of our ranch consists of great natural mule deer habitat. We have over 9 miles of pinyon canyons and drainages, separated by wheatgrass and sagebrush flats. Our ranch has always been a great place to hunt, now we have fantastic animals to go with it.
